Membuka Potensi Kewirausahaan: Pendekatan BMC Dalam Pengembangan Rencana Bisnis Untuk Nasi Singkong Siap Saji

The fast-food industry is becoming part of the modern lifestyle in many countries, where comfort and convenience are increasingly becoming a priority in choosing and consuming food. The demand for ready-to-eat food continues to increase, creating great opportunities for industry players to develop products that suit the needs of the growing market. One product that has great potential is Ready-to-Eat Cassava Rice, utilizing the potential of cassava as an alternative carbohydrate source with high selling value and helping to maintain food security in the future. However, even though it has great potential, Ready-to-Eat Cassava Rice still faces several obstacles such as a lack of serving variations, logistical obstacles in mass distribution, and changes in consumer preferences towards healthier food. In the context of current issues, attention to health and sustainability has become the main focus for modern consumers, demanding the development of Ready-to-Eat Cassava Rice products that are healthy, nutritious and environmentally friendly. Student entrepreneurship development is a relevant context in understanding the role of students in business development. The Indonesian government's entrepreneurial student development program is a real step in creating an independent and accomplished young generation. The Business Model Canvas (BMC) was used as the main framework in developing a comprehensive business plan for Ready-to-Eat Cassava Rice. BMC helps in identifying market segments, product value propositions, distribution channels, customer relationships, revenue sources, key resources, key activities, key partners and cost structures. Referring to the key findings from the BMC analysis, it is necessary to develop a business plan that strengthens the product value proposition, overcomes the challenges of obtaining key resources, and focuses on sustainability and growth. With this approach, Ready-to-Eat Cassava Rice has the potential to be successful in the increasingly competitive ready-to-eat food market.
